DJ Drama is back on the mixtape scene after a brief hiatus caused by a run in with the FBI (I’m sure you’ve all heard the story by now) with Gangsta Grillz 17, the preview mixtape to Drama’s major label debut “Gangsta Grillz: The Album” (Dropping December 4th, 2007 on Grand Hustle/Atlantic Records) and it’s everything you would expect from the series and more. The albums first single “5,000 Ones Feat. ( T.I., Nelly, Diddy, Yung Joc, Willie The Kid, Young Jeezy, and Twista)” comes fully equpied with an all-star cast and can only be described with two words: “crack music”. With more heat rocks such as 3000 Something - Andre 3,000, Lil Wayne - I’m A Beast, Scarface - Never, Rocko - Umma Do Me Feat. Young Jeezy, Khaled - I’m So Hood Remix (Another crazy posse record.) Drama dishes out more proof he can do no wrong and shows the world one more reason the south’s on top right now. Yeah I said it. This is a must have tape!
